2.  For those who like to make the most of their weekend and fill it with activity, a guided cycle ride to Windsor on Sunday could be just the answer. Keen cyclists can enjoy a ride through the borough and out along a route to Windsor where bike riders can stop off to enjoy the castle, spend some time in the local shops or relax and feed the ducks, before enjoying the ride back to Uxbridge, in this day long organised ride with a leader.

3.  Zumba class member Daniela Iliskovic sadly lost her 25-year-old brother Dalibor to Ewings Sarcoma bone cancer in August this year.

In order to raise awareness and money for the Ewings Sarcoma Research Trust, Daniela's zumba class are holding a Pink Zumba Party and everyone is invited to join in the fun and raise money for the important cause, with one condition, everyone taking part must wear pink.

The session is open to anyone aged 16 and over. A cake sale will raise more funds, but make sure you build up your metabolism first with a fun workout. Take part for free, but give a donation to the Research Trust.

4.  Get double the stand up comedy for your money at the next Comedy Bunker night featuring physical comedians Men In Coats and TV panel show favourite Richard Herring.

The former perform a relentless stream of brilliant visual humour, mostly achieved by the use of a simple black curtain. The simple sight gags could belong to a variety turn of a different era, yet Men in Coats bring a modern pace, verve and originality to their craft that means you’re too busy laughing to worry about it.

KIDS>> To round off the Family Learning Festival 2013, which runs for two weeks and started on October 19, children age five to seven can work together with a parent or carer to create a crafts inspired by stories. The Family Learning Festival is the biggest annual celebration of family learning in the UK, bringing families together for learning that is fun, informal and inspiring. Hillingdon Libraries, in partnership with Hillingdon Adult and Community Learning have organised a series of free events where families develop skills and creativity together. Booking is essential and there is a maximum of two children per adult.

6. KIDS>> Families can take part in free storytelling and craft sessions on Saturday, November 2 at the Pavilions shopping centre.
