THREE meetings have been organised for Sipson residents over the next week as the repercussions of the third runway announcement begin to sink in.

The meetings are a chance for villagers affected by the announcements, and all of those who wish to protest against the runway to meet and decide on their next course of action.

The first meeting will be on Saturday at 10am at Heathrow Primary School, Harmondsworth Lane, Sipson.

The second will follow a day later and will be held at 3.30pm at the church hall at Harlington Baptist Church, Harlington High Street, Hayes.

These will be followed by a third meeting on Thursday 22nd at 7.30pm at Botwell Social Hall, Botwell Lane, Hayes.

John McDonnell, MP for Hayes and Harlington is co-ordinating the meetings and explains it is a chance for the community to get together and plan a strong course of action.

He said: "John Stewart from HACAN will be there and will explain the details of the runway announcement in full and what exactly it means for the residents.

"We will talk about where we go from here, what forms of protests we will take, including direct action, and work out our course of legal action."
