A Summer of Indian culture in Harrow kicked off with a sizzling dance performance.
Stars of TV's Britain's Got Talent Signature wowed the hundreds-strong crowd at St George's Shopping Centre on Sunday (10) with a Michael Jackson-inspired routine.
Madhu Singh from Hayes and Suleman Mirza from Essex wore a mixture of traditional and modern outfits as they performed their interpretation of Billie Jean and two other numbers.
More than a dozen police were posted at the event for safety as shoppers crowded into the galleries to get a look.
St George's Centre manager Steve Kent said: "It went extremely well. We were absolutely full to the brim, there were even people on the fourth floor watching."
Staff estimated around 600 people were in the crowd.
The event was the first event of the four-week Indian Summer festival.
This Saturday (16) The Dancing Nikita Company will be taking centre stage at St George's at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
The group will showcase their blend of contemporary and classical Indian dance.
Food lovers will get a chance to take some tips from top chef Pat Chapman on August 23.
The cook will be hosting the Indian Cooking Experience on the ground floor of the centre between 11am and 4pm
On August 30th shoppers can enjoy a free head massage and henna tattoo when the same area is turned into a "relaxation zone".
The session will see a henna artist and masseuse offering their services between 11am and 4pm.
