This is the shocking moment that bargain-hungry shoppers stormed an Asda, which saw desperate customers fighting over discounted 40-inch TVs.

The store, in Capital Way, Wembley, was taking part in the Black Friday promotion which gives shoppers a chance to snap up bargains before Christmas.

But in incredible scenes, captured by Rav Vadgama, shoppers even grappled on the floor in a bid to secure their bargain, and another threatened a fellow customer that he will 'see him outside' in aggressive, foul-mouthed exchanges.

Warning: there is some bad language in the clip below.

This morning, Andrew Moore, Asda’s chief merchandising officer, boasted: “We are anticipating this will be our busiest shopping weekend of the year so far.”

But stores, alongside one in Willesden and another in Edgware, had to draft in more police officers overnight amid concerns of overcrowding.

Police have also been called to an incident at the Willesden Tesco.
