LAS statement

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service told getwestlondon:

We were called at 12:10pm today to reports of a road traffic collision in Uxbridge Road, Shepherds Bush.

“We sent an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car to the scene, with the first medic arriving in less than five minutes.

“We treated a woman at the scene and took her to a major trauma centre as a priority.”

Uxbridge Road is closed

Uxbridge Road, A4020 is currently closed by police while they deal with the collision.

The crash occurred on the busy main road near Loftus Road stadium and Shepherd’s Bush Market.

The driver

It is understood that the driver of the vehicle has stopped at the scene.

Police have made no arrests yet.

What we know

Metropolitan Police has confirmed that the are currently attending a collision between a car and a female pedestrian.

The pedestrian is receiving emergency treatment from London Ambulance Service.

The collision happened on Uxbridge Road at around 12.15pm on Monday (October 2).
