THREE garden sheds were destroyed after a spate of 'suspicious' fires in West Drayton.

The fires started in the early hours of Friday morning (May 24), and were all within a small geographical area.

Fire crews were first called to Beech Close at 3.27am, and two fire engines from Hayes station attended.

The next report came in at 3.48am, for a fire at a property in Myrtle Close.

Fourteen minutes later, the final fire in Napier Close was called in.

The sheds were completely destroyed.

A Met Police helicopter was called out to assist local police on the ground.

It is not known whether police captured any suspects.
