‘Bob’a-Job’ might be a thing of the past but Scouts still do their bit every year.

During Community Week, the young people can be found helping out in their community, and this year was no exception for the Ruislip Eastcote Northwood District Explorer Scouts, who pooled their resources for an evening’s litter picking at Ruislip Lido on Sunday, June 1.

Proving litter picking is their bag, boys and girls from the Ruislip Eastcote Northwood District Explorer Scouts get to work at Ruislip Lido

The girls and boys bagged nine sacks of litter in 90minutes, and followed it up with another tidy up along Cheney Street, Eastcote, the following evening.
