Barclays Bank opened its doors to schoolchildren and Santa Claus in the countdown to Christmas.

Children from Bishop-Winnington-Ingram Primary School in Southcote Rise, Ruislip, popped into the branch in High Street, Ruislip, above and top, to sing carols for contributions. They were raising much-needed funds for Orchyd, the Ruislip charity for special needs children.

Meanwhile, down at the Barclays branch in Belmont Road, Uxbridge, below, youngsters from St Andrew's Primary School in Nursery Waye, Uxbridge, athough not quite singing for their supper, did get to tuck into a pizza feast after performing carols for customers.
