PUPILS were presented with scooters and pogo sticks for their outstanding attendance over the last academic year.

Children at Wood End Infants School, Northolt, were allowed to choose their prize along with a safety helmet at an assembly on July 19.

Each of the 27 students who were awarded at the school on Whitton Avenue West had achieved 100 percent attendance, with 21 being on time every day and the further six had been late less than five times or had only missed one session of school over the year.

Parents of the children who won prizes were invited to attend the assembly along with staff and school governors, who were very all very proud.

Many of the youngsters set themselves a goal of full attendance next academic year so that they can receive a prize.

The assembly was a chance to show the new school song and video, performed by pupils.

Wood End also celebrated their success in achieving the UNICEF UK Recognition of Commitment for their ongoing Rights Respecting School work.
