The Supreme Court is rumoured to be preparing to rule on the 51M Group of councils' challenge to the High Court decision that the government was not wrong to make the decision to press ahead with HS2 before carrying out a full environmental impact survey .
The ruling might come as soon as tomorrow (Wednesday).
Hillingdon Council is one of the authorities to have contributed to the cost of the legal case, as part of the 51M Group.
