Ruislip High Street is to get a new road surface.
The High Street was closed to traffic for a few hours overnight on Wednesday, July 23, so that a camera survey of the road surface could take place.
Diversions were in place but the closure was only temporary.
The road will be resurfaced from the traffic light junction with Pembroke Road and Kingsend to the mini-roundabout that connects with Bury Street and Eastcote Road.
Hillingdon Council do not have an exact date of when the resurfacing work will take place, but said the community will be told as soon as a date for it is set.
