Teachers and governers of Ruislip High School are delighted with the school's first set of A level results.

A total of 79 per cent of students gained A* -C grades with just under 50% getting A* - B.

Of those progressing to higher education, close to a third of the students secured a place at a top university on courses such as medicine and architecture.

Headteacher, Dr Martina Lecky, said: “This is an excellent achievement for the school.
"The results are a fitting reward for students’ hard work and reflect the high standard of A-level teaching at Ruislip High School."

Cllr Douglas Mills, Chair of Governors said: "Not only is the school fulfilling its local community role - these students would have been bused to Harefield without this school - we are able to prepare our students for quality further education and the wider world."
Overall pass rate of 98%, with an average total points score of 811.
