A Ruislip stylist has been selected to join an elite art team for world famous styling brand, ghd.

Picked from hundreds of young stylists, Viktoria Toth showed off her talent for creating beautiful, wearable and creative looks using the renowned ghd styler to a panel of hair expert judges.

Cutting her teeth at HOB Salon in High Street, Ruislip, the stylist has developed a talent for creating hair-dos for special occaisions.

She was put through her paces at a selection day on Tuesday, September 2, where she prepped and presented a model during a 20 minute presentation.

Just 24 hours later she was given the good news that she was chosen to join the ghd art team and enjoy a busy schedule of mentoring, session styling, shoots, shows, seminars and product development.

"I can’t even tell you how I feel at the moment," Viktoria said. "I can’t stop smiling. This is just beyond any of my expectations.

"It’s a dream come true, I’m so excited about everything that ghd will bring in the future and I can’t wait to start.

"I know that I will be able to bring even more amazing and beautiful looks, techniques and inspiration back to my clients in the chair at HOB Ruislip."

Jo Robertson, ghd head of education, and one of Viktoria's judging panel, congratulated the hair stylist, chosen alongside one other finalist.

"We had always planned to recruit one new member, but the quality of our finalists was so high, we found it impossible to choose between the two front runners, so our ghd art team now has two new members.

"We can’t wait to start working with them," she said.
