Rugby World Cup winners from the men's and women's games united at Twickenham Stadium to promote a classic car rally this week.

Lawrence Dallaglio and Will Greenwood, who won the men's title with England in 2003, joined Alexandra Matthews, who was part of the country's World Cup-winning squad this summer, to launch the Green Park Oval Ball Run 2015.

A collection of classic cars and motorbikes will travel from RWC venues across the UK next year to the Stade de France, just outside Paris.

Registration is now open for the event, which is being held next August, ahead of the RWC, in aid of the Dallaglio Foundation, Child Bereavement UK and Reading Rugby Football Club.

Mr Dallaglio, who joined schoolchildren at the stadium last week to promote the one-year countdown to the RWC, said: "We are so grateful for the support of the Green Park Oval Ball Run as the monies raised from this event will enable us to support even more young people across the UK."
