A FATHER is accused of killing Harrow woman Ruby Love - with whom he had two children - is to appear at the Old Bailey next month.

Manzar Juma, 28, of Hexham Gardens, Northolt, is alleged to have murdered the 23-year-old mother-of-three on Christmas Day.

Her body was discovered at about 11.40am on December 25 by a member of the public at Bankside, a stretch of the Grand Union Canal just off Uxbridge Road in Southall.

Juma, who is currently on remand, is due before the crown court on Thursday April 5 for a plea and case management hearing.

The wording of the Crown's indictment does not specify where Juma is alleged to have killed Ms Love, citing only the attack is alleged to have taken place within the jurisdiction of the court.

A post-mortem examination conducted at Uxbridge Mortuary could not establish a formal cause of death of Ms Love and further tests revealed

Ms Love - born Rubina Malik - is believed to have lived with her mother Precious in The Meadow Way, Harrow Weald.

Juma previous appeared at Brent Magistrates' Court on December 30.
