Adults and children alike were dressed in traditional Indian clothing and danced along the street.

The street party included Bollywood dancers, Asian drummers, bhangra music and Indian singers.

A traditional Indian wedding was staged and was at the centre of the proceedings with everyone getting behind the ‘royal’ couple.

A procession made its way down the street with a groom on horseback meeting his bride wearing full traditional wedding garments.

The Bharaat followed comprising of the immediate family and friends of the "groom". Indian food was served to the crowd.
