ONE flower shop has been attracting a Valentine's boost by adding a couple of Royal mascots to its display ahead of April's wedding.

Prince William will wed bride-to-be Kate Middleton on April 29, and the state occasion has provided inspiration for an apprentice at a flower shop.

Julia Romp, charity worker and apprentice at Hillingdon Flowers, in Whiteleys Parade, Hillingdon, created the scarecrow look-a-likes.

She said: "My scarecrows have been made for the special occasion of William and Kate as it’s the first valentines before the big day, the royal wedding.

"We will be continuing the theme and celebrating the royal wedding scene to celebrate with them, hoping as people shop for there loved ones they might like to make a donation to our animal charity's.

"We have had a massive response, we have had young and old pop into the shop to take a closer look and people have even stopped to have their photo taken with the royal couple."
