Roads have reopened at the Clockhouse Roundabout in Bedfont after a ruptured gas main was repaired.

All roads including the A30 and A315 leading to the roundabout had been closed following a crash at the site at about 7.50am this morning.

The road closures had caused chaos for motorists in Bedfont, Feltham and surrounding areas.

A police spokesman said the roads had reopened at 11am, though he said there may be some disruption to gas supplies in the area.

Police earlier said no one was believed to have been injured in the crash, which involved two cars.

Kugan Kuganathan, assistant manager at Esso, in Clockhouse Lane, said he had been told to close the petrol station at about 9am while gas workers dealt with the leak.
