I NOTE from the Ealing Gazette of April 17 that both Cayton Road and Middleton Avenue, Greenford are to be re-surfaced.

My question therefore is, what have the residents of Runnymede Gardens done to upset the council?

Our road surface is in an appalling state and has to be "patched up" every three to six months. Even then this only deals with deep potholes and not with areas where the top surface of tarmacadam has broken away. The two roads being resurfaced are as smooth as a bowling green compared to Runnymede. So come on Ealing Council. Come and look at the state of our road and give us a break before we break something by tripping on the deteriorating surface.
