A man has been taken to hospital after a reported assault in a quiet residential road in Uxbridge.
London Ambulance Service were called at around 2.35pm to reports of an assault near Orchard Waye, a road off of The Greenway in Uxbridge.
A spokesman said: "We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. We treated a man for a head injury. He was taken to hospital."
An eyewitness told getwestlondon that Orchard Waye had been cordoned off and police and paramedics were at the scene.
