THE Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation for retired servicemen in Fulham Road received a £500 donation from a supermarket celebrating its refurbishment.
Tesco Express in Townmead Road made the donation to the foundation's chief executive Ed Tytherleigh, who officially reopened the relaunched store last week.
He said: "Everybody at Stoll is delighted with this donation which will go a long way to supporting our service users. The donation will go towards our health and wellbeing activities.”
Store manager Krish Thay said: “I am delighted Ed was able to visit our re-vamped store to receive the donation, I hope this is the start of a great relationship between the store and Stoll.”
