HEAVY rains are washing away the last traces of the borough's snow but thanks to the Gazette's gallery you can still remind yourself of how everything looked.

We asked for readers to send in their pictures of the white-out and many responded. We have chosen a selection and made up a gallery of images which is available through our Video and Pics link.

We want to thank everyone who contributed. The weather forecast is for more heavy snow by Monday so any budding photographers who want to send in their images can do so via this site.
