POLICE are urgently trying to trace a dementia sufferer aged 84 who disappeared from Northwick Park Hospital on Monday.
Edmund Koszalka, from Acton, left the hospital in Watford Road, Harrow, just before he was about to be discharged at 7.30am.
He had been transferred there the previous day from Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal where he had turned up at noon at A&E with a head injury. He told staff he had fallen over in the street.
Southall Missing persons Unit now are appealing for the public's help in trying to locate Mr Koszalka.
He is Polish, white, around 5ft 7in tall with a hunched frame and a shuffling walk, and was last seen wearing a black winter jacket, a white shirt and black shoes.
There may be name tags in the back of his shirt and the initials 'P6' attached to buttons on his clothing.
