Police are looking for a group of men involved in a fight where a man was stabbed in the chest at Notting Hill Carnival.

At around 3.30pm on Monday (August 25) a large group of men were involved in a violent fight near the Rampage Sound System in Colville Gardens.

A 29-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and several others suffered cuts and lacerations. The man was one of 11 people to be stabbed at last weekend’s Carnival.

He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital by ambulance and later discharged, while other injured men with head injuries received medical aid at the scene.

In a separate incident on Sunday (August 24) a 16-year-old was stabbed in the chest with a broken bottle in Ladbroke Grove at around 6pm. He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital and later discharged. There have been no arrests and police are looking to trace one man.

On the same day, in a separate incident, two suspects involved in a large group in All Saints Road at around 3.15pm have been charged with public order offences but police are keen to trace another unidentified male.

DCI Andy Barnes, said: “If you recognise any of the individuals in these images please get in touch with the police or Crimestoppers. The vast majority of people attended Carnival with the sole intention of enjoying themselves but there were people there who were intent of causing serious disorder and committing assaults on others. We are determined to identify all those responsible and bring them to justice.”

The police appeals come after 252 people were arrested during Carnival .
