Police are searching for a suitcase in connection with a murder probe in Fulham.

Officers who arrested a mother over the suspected murder of her nine-week-old daughter, at a Fulham hotel, are now searching for a suitcase in connection with the case.

Italian national Federica Boscolo-Gnolo, 31, of no fixed UK abode, was charged on Friday (January 30) with the murder of her daughter, Farah Boscolo-Gnolo, after she reported the baby was missing from a hotel, in Fulham, on Thursday (January 29).

No body has been found, but detectives are asking the public for help to find a suitcase discarded in the area of Dawes Road, Fulham, last Tuesday (January 27).

DCI Matt Bonner, of the Met’s Homicide and Major Incident Command, said: “I am appealing to the public to help us locate this suitcase that may be vital to our investigation. We know that it was discarded in the Dawes Road area on Tuesday.

“It may have been concealed somewhere or simply placed in a bin or left in a street or alleyway. I would like to hear from anyone who thinks they have information that can assist us in locating this item.

“The suitcase we are looking for is part of a matching set and is a smaller version of the suitcase shown in the image.”

Ms Boscolo-Gnolo, of Chioggia, near Venice, has been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday (February 3).
