THIS picture of a murder victim has been released as police continue their investigation into his death.

Ramnik Chander, 32, was found by police after they were called to his flat in Sussex Road, Southall, on February 10 this year.

At the time the death was not thought to be suspicious but following an initial post-mortem examination, it is now being treated as murder.

Mr Chander's next of kin, who live in India, have been informed. It is not yet known whether Mr Chander was an Indian national.

An incident room has been opened at Hendon under Detective Chief Inspector Lee Presland, of the Homicide and Serious Crime Command. Anyone with any information is asked to call the incident room on 020 8358 0300 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
