A family mourning the sudden death of their baby boy were devastated after being raided by police days after the tragedy.

The six-month-old baby who was asleep in the bedroom with his older siblings was found by his mother, lying very still and with blue lips on Sunday, October 12.

Natalie Stewart, 24, immediately called the ambulance and baby Camron was taken to Ealing Hospital in a life-threatening condition where he died unexpectedly just hours later.

Now parents Curtis, 27, and Natalie, who live in Goring Way, Greenford, said the tragic death of their 'little angel' had been made even worse as police failed to justify the raid or inform them when their dog and her puppies will be returned.

Mr Stewart, who had been to prison in the past after getting mixed up with a gang but turned his life around once he married and had children, said: "Our baby was dying and the police were checking for foul play, but they found nothing that could have caused my beautiful baby's death.

"We thought it was so insensitive; we're grieving for our baby and it feels like we have to prove our innocence.

"Camron was my angel and he stopped me from continuing a life of crime and now it seems I am being punished for my past.

"He was a treasured gift and we want to find out why he died and stop this happening to other parents."

Mrs Stewart said Camron was a normal baby and said she will continue her quest to find out what happened to her fourth child.

The full-time mother said: "Camron was such a happy, healthy baby - he was always smiling and would only cry if he needed changing or his bottle.

"I will never forget seeing him lying so still but the ambulance crew did every-thing they could to revive him.

"There are people out there who harm their children and should be locked up and we are still in shock that the police could search our home and suggest that we or the dog may have been linked to Camron's death.

"We just want to find out what happened to our baby while being strong for our other children."

A post mortem took place at Great Ormand Street Hospital and the death is being treated as unexplained.

The funeral will take place today (Friday) and Mrs Stewart's father will be running the London Marathon to raise money to fund research into sudden and unexplained baby deaths.

A police spokesman confirmed officers attended an address in Goring Way, Greenford but said they were unable to comment further on the case.
