Officers smashed their way into a suspected crack den during a dawn raid in Kingsbury.
The first floor flat in Pipers Green was empty at the time of the hit but police found paraphanalia including crack pipes and spoons with Class A drug residue.
Neighbours have been complaining to the police for months about the address for a number of reasons including possible drug dealing, loud noise and for possessing a pit-bull type dog.
Sergeant Gary Pidgeon led the operation this morning, codenamed Olyroun, with the help from officers from Fryent Safer Neighbourhood Team.
He said: "We have been collecting information from residents voicing their conerns about the property for some time.
"It is unfortunate we haven't came across any substances and that he wasn't here but we will continue to monitor the situation.
"You can tell from the pungent smell and paraphanalia that someone has certainly been smoking crack in here. "There is definitely an aromer of drugs and you see how he has been cooking his 'H'."
