DETECTIVES are offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information regarding the murder of a man in Northolt two years ago.

Adeniyi Lateef Shode, known as Ade or Enda, was found collapsed close to the junctions of Rowdell Road, Ealing Road and Kensington Road on May 2, 2011.

The 21-year-old from Edgware had suffered stab wounds and was taken to St Mary’s Hospital where he died of his injuries the same day.

Antonia Frances, Ade Shode’s mother, said: "All our family thinks about Ade every day. We remember his laugh and smile and he always remains in our thoughts. It hurts us to think that whoever killed Ade is still out there and we pray that it doesn’t happen to anyone else’s family.

“If you are not happy talking to the police then please tell someone and get them to pass the information on. What is important is that they can track down whoever took my son from us.”

Detective Inspector Andy Manning, the officer leading the investigation, said: “Ade Shode was a young man who was murdered in the prime of his life. Two years on we continue to investigate his murder and appeal for fresh information.

“We still strongly believe that Ade knew his attacker and that he was murdered due to a previous disagreement between him and the killer.

“I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this senseless killing to come forward and give information to police. It may be that as time has passed someone may now feel able to help police bring someone to justice for this brutal killing.

“A reward of up to £20,000 is still available for any information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of the persons responsible for Ade’s murder.”

Anyone with information is being asked to call 020 8358 0300; if you wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
