The identity of a man in his 20s who was shot in Neasden has been released.

Rowan Thomas-Williams, 20, died after making his way to hospital following an altercation in Mulberry Court, Neasden.

Police were called at 1.30am to reports of gunshots heard in nearby Elgar Avenue on Friday December 6 but when they arrived no injured person was found.

They were told at 2am that a man had been admitted to a north west London hospital with gunshot wounds.

Mr Thomas-Williams was pronounced dead at 9.40am that morning.

A postmortem examination at Northwick Park hospital on Saturday December 7 gave the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest.

Tributes have been posted on Twitter to the young man, who was also known as Trigr.

The Homicide and Major Crime Command is investigating and an incident room has open in Lewisham under Detective Chief Inspector Graeme Gwyn.

Three people, two men, aged 22 and 49, and one woman, aged 49, were arrested near the scene and taken into custody at a north London police station.

They have since been bailed pending further enquiries to a date next week.

Another man, aged 27, was arrested later on December 6 at an address in north-west London.

He was bailed to date later this month.

All four were arrested on suspicion of murder.
