POLICE are on the hunt for two men allegedly involved in a racist rant on a Piccadilly line service towards Uxbridge.

British Transport Police have released CCTV images of two white suspects who targeted Asian and black passengers on April 23 between 6.35pm and 7.10pm.

It is unknown where the men boarded, but the footage shows them departing the train at Sudbury Town station near Allendale Road, Greenford.

Detective Constable Elaine Sexton said: "The men's language was abusive and threatening and left the victims feeling extremely shaken.

"London is a multi-cultural city made up of people from various ethnic backgrounds. Visitors from all over the world will be coming to the city over the next few months, and they deserve to travel without fear of being exposed to ignorant behaviour."

Anyone who has information or recognises these men should call 0800 40 50 40 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
