Police are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of a teenager who has been missing from Twickenham for nearly a fortnight.

Sam Jeffries, 15, has not been seen by his family since leaving home on Wednesday, December 3, between 8am and 10.15am.

He had been in contact since then with family, friends and police but there has been no word for the past couple of days and no one has been able to get through to his phone.

Sam is white, around 5ft11 and has a slim build. He has short brown hair and wears braces on his teeth.

It is possible that when he left home he was wearing grey baggy jogging bottoms, a heavy grey hooded sweat top, white trainers and a red Burton ski jacket. It is not believed he took a change of clothes.

Sam is known to frequent west London, Richmond and Hounslow particularly, and has possibly recently travelled via Waterloo.

Anyone who has seen Sam or who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call police in Richmond on the non-emergency number 101.

Police said Sam Jeffries had returned home safe and well on December 22.
