FOUR young men have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary after a dramatic armed police siege.
Police surrounded a house on Ickenham Road with guns during a twenty minute stand off just after 2pm yesterday (Monday) as they looked to apprehend the suspects following a burglary earlier in the day.
Traffic in Ickenham and Ruislip was brought to a standstill as Ickenham Road was closed off as part of the operation, and police remained at the scene for several hours.

Detective Sergeant Mark Clawson, said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a black Ford Fiesta in the area to come forward, also I would urge anyone with any further information to come forward."
The four young men who have been arrested, but not at this stage formally charged, all believed to be from the Uxbridge area, with one aged 19, two aged 18, and one aged 16.
