Police have released an image of a man they need to speak to after a victim was punched and had his head stamped on for no reason.

This violent assault took place on Sunday September 21 (2014) in Bagel Bite, Central Buildings, The Broadway, Ealing.

The 26-year-old victim was punched, fell to the floor and hit and cut his head on a corner of a table. He was also left with a broken nose.

The suspect stamped on the victim’s head as he lay on the floor before fleeing the venue turning south and running down the alleyway by the side of the Red Rooms down to Haven Place and out towards McDonalds.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, around 30 years old, about 5ft 10ins, very heavily built with a moustache and wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and black trainers.

Detective Constable Steven Constable, Ealing CID, said: “This is a vicious, unprovoked attack on an innocent man leaving him with a nasty cut to the head and a broken nose. I urge anyone who recognises the man in the image to contact police urgently before this man strikes again with potentially a more serious outcome.”
