A COMMUNITY arts group has celebrated a year of successful projects for young people, and now hopes to welcome new members.
Northwood Community Arts (NCA) is based in the heart of Northwood, at St John’s Church, in Hallowell Road.
A brightly coloured ‘community canvas’ that hangs outside the church was created by more than 60 members last year.
Supported and funded by creative arts agency ArtReach, this year NCA has been able to run a skills project for young people, of dance – including disability dance – drawing and puppet workshops, circus skills, lantern making and family theatre.
