A pizza delivery motorcyclist died after a collision with a black cab in Chelsea last night.
An air ambulance was scrambled to the scene where the Iranian rider, believed to be aged 36, died after the accident at the junction of King's Road and Chelsea Manor Street at 10.30pm.
The police said he died at 11.07pm and have named the man as Sohrab Shadimanesh of Walton Road, East Mosley, Surrey.
A spokeswoman said he and his motorcycle was dragged along underneath the front of the cab after the collision.
Police identified the man using his mobile phone. London Ambulance Service confirmed that two cars and two ambulance crews as well as the helicopter were sent to the scene.
