When I Grow Up is HTDC's biannual show starring their dancers aged between three and 20, along with adult dancers from nearby dance school Tap For Fun.
The title of the show is taken from a song in Matilda the Musical, and each number is based on the theme of dreaming of what you wish to become when you are grown up.
The school, based in Cowley Road, Yiewsley, invited the Gazette along to watch jazz and contemporary classes rehearse at their studio.
HTDC runs dance classes for children aged 18 months and up.
The dance school was set up 48 years ago and has been a part of the local community ever since.
When I Grow Up is on at the Beck Theatre, Grange Road, Hayes, on Saturday July 5 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
