An elderly pedestrian has been killed following a collision with a lorry in Paddington.
It happened at around 11.30am on today (September 2) on Lisson Grove at the junction with Church Road.
London’s Air Ambulance and ambulance service attended the scene but the injured man, believed to be in his 70s was pronounced dead at the scene at 12.15pm.
Formal identification and a post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course, but next of kin have been informed.
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command at Merton are investigating and want to hear from anyone who witnessed or may have information regarding the collision.
