Pedestrian taken to hospital after collision with car

Woman reported to be in 20s taken to West Middlesex Hospital after crash in Isleworth

A woman was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car in Isleworth this morning.

The pedestrian, reported to be in her 20s was in collision with a car at the junction of Twickenham Road and Mogden Lane, near the Ivybridge Retail Park, shortly before 7.30am.

A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said it was called at 7.25am and sent one crew, which treated the woman at the scene before taking her to West Middlesex Hospital.

The spokeswoman was unable to give any details of her injuries but said she was not taken to hospital as a priority, meaning they are not expected to be life-threatening.

The road was closed in both directions following the crash but had reopened by 9am.
