Imperial College Hospital NHS Trust has signed up to a new city-wide partnership to help improve patient care.

The trust – which runs Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea, St Mary's & Western Eye Hospitals – will team up with other hospitals, universities and industry across north-west London.

As part of the new North West London Health Innovation and Education Cluster (HIEC) they will share their best practices and take on board others to help train their staff.

Charles Pusey, director of education at Imperial College Trust and professor of medicine at Imperial College London, said: "Together we will deliver improved patient services through the development of the healthcare workforce, using innovative programmes of education and training."
