Pass rate above 99 per cent for Harefield Academy

The Harefield Academy achieved a 36 per cent pass rate at grades A-C, and netted an average point score of 205.7.

Its overall pass rate was 99.1 per cent.

Outstanding achievements include those of Meave McHugh, the head girl who lives in Harefield, and who achieved A* in Maths, A in Further Maths, A in Music and B in Chemistry.

Principal, Lynn Gadd, said: "We are delighted that our A-level pass rate remains above 99 per cent and that so many of our students will be progressing to university following these results.

"We have our highest number of Post-16 students successfully completing their A level or equivalent education at Harefield this year."
