GCSE results at a Pinner school have been described as "outstanding".

Heathfield School for Girls, a fee-paying school in Beaulieu Drive, in Pinner said every student passed every exam and that more than half of the pupils obtained seven or more GCSEs with A* and A grades.

Headmistress Anne Stevens said: “These results are a testament to the girls’ hard work and the teachers’ dedication.

"We wish the girls well as they enter the Sixth Form.”

For the second year running all the students who sat Mandarin pupils scored an A* or an A and 82 per cent of IGCSE Maths pupils achieved an A* and or an A.

Two pupils were awarded 11 GCSEs at A* and A grade and Emma Barlow achieved nine A* and A grades at GCSE.
