REGARDING Brian Clark's letter (Chronicle, September 11).
Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons apart, Brian touched on a very important point concerning residential and other developments which occur and will continue to do so despite the present state of the housing market.
These could consist of just adding adding extra rooms to an existing house, a small block of flats, a proposal to develop an estate such as Beavers or Brabazon Road, or indeed a commercial development.
It is vitally important that the infrastructure is in place before development and not as a follow-up or afterthought.
Constant development, even just the upsizing of houses, must ultimately have an impact on all facilities and services.
In the case of Hounslow town centre, it is crucial that the most serious thought is given to the infrastructure of the area.
Failure to do so will ultimately cause serious problems.
