A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with a leg injury following a collision between a motorcycle and car in Hounslow this morning (7).

The accident happened at Grosvenor Road at the junction of Wellington road North just before 9am.

A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokeswoman said: "We were called at 8.56am to reports of a road traffic collision between a motorcycle and a car in Grosvenor Road at the junction of Wellington Road North in Hounslow.

"We sent an ambulance crew and a single responder car to the scene to treat a man reported to be in his 20s for a leg injury.

"He was taken to West Middlesex Urgent Care Centre."

Police said the extremely quick response from paramedics at LAS meant the incident did not cause any roads to be closed.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at about 9am to reports of an injury accident between a white motorcycle believed to be a Honda and a silver Mercedes car.

"The LAS were called and one person, believed to be in their 20s, was reported injured at the scene.

"There were no reports of any roads obstructed."
