Police are hunting a one-legged man tonight after he got away from three security guards at Ealing Magistrates' Court.
The fugitive was thought to have been being escorted from the rear of the building in Green Man Lane when he made his escape at around 4.30pm.
More than dozen officers swooped on the area and searched the nearby Green Man Estate.
A witness at the court said: "It's ridiculous but true."
