School children are still punching the air after meeting an Olympic gold medallist boxer.
Pupils of West Twyford Primary School, Park Royal, had photos taken with James Degale, a middleweight boxer who won Britain's 19th Gold medal at the Beijing Games.
The 22-year-old let the children hold the medal, had photos taken with them and answered all their questions.
Rachel Martin, the Headteacher said: "We were lucky to have James here as he is the nephew of our school administrator.
"The children were ecstatic and inquisitive asking James many questions, such as if he's rich now after winning the gold medal and which hand he prefers to punch with.
"James is a delightful young man and the children are still all talking about it."
The middleweight boxer from Harlesden beat Cuban Emilio Correa in the Beijing Olympics final.
