A NEW 'no-go' area has been introduced around Hanger Lane to tackle anti-social behaviour.
Ealing police have put the dispersal order in place for a six-month period covering the busy Hanger Lane Gyratory.
The boundary runs from below the River Brent in the north to Chatsworth Road in the south, up to Coronation Road in the east and Quill Street, off Hanger Lane in the west.
The latest move will give officers the power to ask people in groups or those who don't live in the area to leave immediately or at a specified time.
Constables and PCSO's will also be able to tell people who don't live in the area not to come back to a particular location, or any part of it, for a maximum 24 hours from the time the order has been given.
Anyone under the age of 16, should not be within the zone between 9pm and 6am, unless accompanied by a parent or responsible adult over the age of 18.
Youths under 16 years, not with an adult, can be taken home to their parents or moved to a place of safety.
The dispersal zone, which started on March 25, will remain in place until 11.59pm on September 25.
Anyone found guilty of breaching the zone's conditions faces three months in prison and/or a fine up to £2,500.
