HILLINGDON Council has made an online film to help promote the borough's 'best assets'.

The five-minute video looks at five of the borough's most popular and well-loved destinations and highlights the activities on offer for visitors and residents.

It is available to watch on the council website, www.hillingdon.gov.uk/visit , and was produced by the capital's tourism board, Visit London.

Councillor Henry Higgins, cabinet member for culture, sport and leisure, said the film was a great way to promote Hillingdon's best features.

"Residents and regular visitors to Hillingdon know that the borough is a great destination for all ages," he said. "With hundreds of green spaces and open places combined with historic buildings and state-of-the-art visitor facilities this new Visit London film is a great introduction to what the borough has on offer. There really has never been a better time to visit Hillingdon."

The film features residents and people who work in Hillingdon talking about their favourite parts of the borough and the best places to visit throughout the year.

Areas featured include Little Britain Lake, Ruislip Lido and Fassnidge Park (pictured).
