THE sound of pipers and a steel band provided the backdrop for churchgoers to mingle with guests at a Kingsbury Diamond Jubilee bash.
Monday’s party followed prayers at St Andrew’s Church in Old Church Lane, and included a barbecue, a bouncy castle, a children’s craft corner, a beauty corner and face painting.
Event co-ordinator Sonia Lundy said: “I must thank the pipers that came and we had a steel band that came from St Michael’s Church in Stonebridge and I was so happy with how they got everybody up and dancing.”
