A 20-YEAR-OLD from Queensbury has admitted stabbing a woman to death in her flat and then stealing her car.

Nicolae Patraucean, 20, of Chichester Court, killed 55-year-old Rivka Holden in the property in Falcon Way, Colindale, earlier this year.

The Romanian admitted one charge of murder yesterday at the Old Bailey.

The court heard how a police car was flagged down at 12.20am on Sunday March 16 and uts officers were alerted to a seriously injured woman at her home address.

Paramedics from London Ambulance Service attended the house and Ms Holden was pronounced dead at the scene. She had suffered fatal stab injuries.

The victim’s 2012-reg Red Hyundai i20, which had been stolen during the incident, was later found in the Kingsbury area.

Detectives traced Patraucean and he was charged on the day after the killing with murder.

Ms Holden was an Jewish woman who was known at Kingsbury Synagogue while not being a member there.

Patraucean was remanded in custody to be sentenced at the Old Bailey on Friday July 25.
